Topcon continues to revolutionise the 3D grading world with the introduction of 3D-MC² for graders.
Adding 3D-MC² to a grader allows the control system to immediately sense any changes in the cutting edge position and instantly make corrections providing superior stability and smoothness when finish grading.
3D-MC² works with Topcon’s existing slope sensor to maintain the industry's most reliable slope accuracy from flat grades to steep slopes. With the increase in correction speed, operators can breeze through transitions without having to slow down to allow the system to keep up.
Topcon’s 3D-MC² has built in tilt compensation. Whether rolling the blade forward to shave high spots or back to carry a windrow, the system automatically adjusts for the change in position and maintains the correct grade.
How it Works
3D-MC² utilises Topcon’s GX-60 control box, GPS+ antenna, MCR3 GPS+ receiver and new 3D-MC² sensor and pairs them with our latest advanced software to provide cutting edge position updates up to 100 times per second. The 3D-MC² sensor combines a gyro, compass and inertial sensor to measure the X (front to back), Y (side-to-side) & Z (up & down) position of the cutting edge as well as the roll, pitch, yaw and acceleration of the motorgrader. Result? Unmatched speed, accuracy and flexibility.
3D Excavator: Topcon X63
This indicate 3D GPS+ system speeds up excavation tasks and gives the operator complete control. Unlike laser-based systems, Topcon's X63 allows the operator to see the machine's exact position in relation to the site for more precise positioning.
Plus the operator can see, in real time, the position of the teeth on the bucket compared with the the finish design. This is a great feature for deep cuts, blind excavations and when working around structures.

Topcon 3D GPS+
Topcon's 3D GPS+ system has the ability to track both GPS and GLONASS.
This fully automated machine control solution gets you to grader finish and virtually eliminates grade stakes, to give you ultimate control and save time on the job.
Fully backwards compatible with other Topccon machine control systems, 3D GPS+ can also be used in combination with other grade sensors such as Sonic Trackers, slope sensors and laser receivers.

Topcon 3Di-GPS+
3Di-GPS+ is a cost effective indicate-only system ideal for bulk earthmoving machines such as dozers, scrapers and compactors.
The colour touch screen control box displays where the machine is on the job, along with cut and fill information.

Topcon LPS-900
Topcon's Local Positioning System (LPS) is ideal for high precision applications where the machine does not have open sky visibility and is unable to receive consistant GPS satellite signals.
Working in built up areas or under heavy tree coverage can limit the performance of GPS-based machine control solutions. Topcon's LPS-900 system is perfect for these conditions, as it uses the Topcon 900 or 9000 robotic total station to give positioning corrections to the machine.
Using Topcon's XTRAC technology, the LPS-900 system tracks the machine at speeds up to 55km/hr! To ensure you meet the fine tolerances required on some projects, machine and blade position is updated 20 times per second.

- Easy to transfer from GPS to LPS quickly and easily. Simply add a 360° prism to the vibration pole, a radio in the MC-R3 and the total station on a control point and you're ready!
