Winners of our Neighbours Competition

Thank you to everyone who took part in our 'Spot where the actor goes wrong' Neighbours competition - read on to hear who won and some of the best answers we received!

Congratulations to Les Searle (Data Visualisation), Nick Orval (Prime Survey) and Matthew Forsyth (MPF Surveying) who all won a Bosch Digital Level for being the first three entrants to send in the correct answer.

The answer to the question 'Where did the actor go wrong?' is:

He did not level the instrument (the Total Station is making a 'ping' noise to try to tell him this!)

Without naming names, we thought we'd share with you some of our favourite responses, some of which made us smile and some made us laugh out loud! Enjoy...

"As an actor he appeared in neighbours. As a surveyor he opened his mouth and betrayed confidential information."

"Err…. regarding that Neighbours clip, the actor says, “I just go where they tell me." A real surveyor would be a professional in charge of their own destiny and not meekly acquiescing to the needs of some mythical, rogue boss. They would be involved in the decision making and strategic directions of their business trajectory."

"Firstly, he set up the tripod for a dwarf to use, which is not so bad, however I also think he failed to correctly attach the instrument to the tripod, and also had the instrument well off level. Secondly, he was rude to the public (I have never heard a Surveyor do that!!). Thirdly, he dispensed advised the public that there was corruption involved in gaining the approval."
