Topcon recently released the latest generation of laser transmitter for use with its millimetre GPS positioning system – the LZ-T5.
Replacing the PZL-1, the LZ-T5 uses patented zone-beam laser technology, providing continuous high accuracy elevation information to improve GNSS positioning.
The LZ-T5 incorporates new design and operational features, including extended battery life, a new ergonomic design and enhanced performance even in fluctuating weather conditions.

The Topcon 3D GPS+ system has meant that we have no people on the ground for starters and I think we’ve saved ourselves up to maybe four blokes on the ground. It means we can use smaller excavators if required because we’re so much more efficient with what we do.
