Position Partners has acquired Total Survey Systems
The acquisition will allow Position Partners to expand its product range and service capabilities to the survey and geospatial industry. The combined team will expand resources and expertise to better support geospatial and surveyor professionals.
Total Survey Systems is based in Sydney, they are a survey equipment distributor that specialises in Sokkia survey technology. In the agreement, all TSS employees will be based in the Silverwater office which is located in the inner west of Sydney’s CBD along with the Position Partners team.
Martin Nix, the CEO for Position Partners states: “we are delighted to welcome the TSS team to Position Partners, with their expertise in the land survey industry will be a terrific addition to our engagement with customers.”
Martin also added “surveyors in New South Wales have never been more in demand than they are now. The acquisition of TSS means that there is 50 years’ collective experience in the survey industry. TSS started trading in 2002 when Sokkia changed its distribution to become a reseller model. Before this, Hugh Gerges and team members worked for Sokkia directly.
Their Senior Technical Consultant, Paul Koren has been with the company from the very start. Before that he worked for Sokkia Australia and Sokkia BV in Europe. Their Service Manager Glen Anderson worked for TSS for the past 15 years and Renato Calara is the Service Technician and he has been with the company for over 5 years and before that 15 years for Sokkia South Africa.
